SayPro CEO Neftaly Malatjie Encourages Faith and Positive Speech at Capacity Building Training for NPOs

Southern Africa Youth Project Headquarters, 24–26 June 2025

At the SayPro Capacity Building Training for NPOs, held from 24 to 26 June 2025 at the Southern Africa Youth Project headquarters, SaPro CEO and Leader of Development Neftaly Malatjie offered a message of hope and spiritual grounding to nonprofit leaders and community changemakers.

In one of the most heartfelt moments of the three-day event, Malatjie told attendees:
“Your tongue is the solution to your problems. Kneel and pray to God.”

This powerful statement highlighted the importance of faith, mindset, and personal responsibility in overcoming challenges, both within nonprofit work and personal life.

Faith and Leadership in the Nonprofit Sector

While much of the event focused on technical training—such as NPO compliance, financial management, and governance—Malatjie reminded participants that leadership also requires inner strength, discipline, and belief.

“Many of us are facing battles—financial stress, lack of support, burnout,” he said. “But sometimes, the way you speak about your situation and the faith you carry inside you is what turns everything around.”

His message encouraged leaders not to rely solely on external resources, but to also turn inward and upward for strength, guidance, and clarity.

Holistic Support for Community Leaders

The SayPro Capacity Building Programme aims not only to equip NPOs with operational skills but to empower leaders personally and spiritually. The event brought together over 100 nonprofit professionals for workshops on accountability, ethical leadership, programme development, and sustainability.

Malatjie’s reminder to pray and use positive, intentional language deeply resonated with attendees.

A participant from a youth rehabilitation center said, “It was refreshing to hear a leader remind us that spiritual grounding and the way we speak about our lives matters. It’s something we often forget in the rush of our work.”

A Message of Hope and Empowerment

As the event came to a close, Malatjie emphasized the balance between action and faith:
“Equip yourself with skills, yes. Follow the law, manage your resources. But above all, speak life into your mission and never forget to pray.”
