Overview
CKG plays a pivotal role in the child protection ecosystem by receiving, identifying, assessing, and managing reports of child abuse, neglect, and exploitation. Through a multidisciplinary and trauma-informed approach, we ensure that every child’s safety, dignity, and wellbeing are prioritized. Our interventions are designed to address both immediate risks and long-term recovery needs.
We maintain close partnerships with law enforcement agencies, social services, healthcare providers, legal departments, and accredited non-governmental organizations to offer a coordinated, comprehensive response that empowers children and families.
Core Services
1. Case Reception and Identification
- Receive reports through multiple channels: phone, in-person, community referrals, schools, and partner organizations
- Ensure a child-friendly and confidential intake process, respecting the child’s voice and dignity
- Use standardized tools and protocols to identify the nature and severity of abuse or exploitation
- Triage cases to determine urgency and appropriate level of response
2. Comprehensive Child-Centered Assessment
- Employ multidisciplinary teams (social workers, psychologists, healthcare professionals) to conduct holistic assessments
- Evaluate physical health, psychological trauma, safety risks, educational needs, and social circumstances
- Engage caregivers and relevant community members to understand the child’s support network
- Utilize assessment findings to develop a detailed case profile and risk analysis
3. Referral Coordination and Linkages
- Act as a referral hub by linking children and families with appropriate services, including:
- Law enforcement (Child Protection Units, police) for investigation and prosecution
