At the recently concluded SayPro Capacity Building Training for NPOs, held from 24 to 26 June 2025 at the Southern Africa Youth Project headquarters, SayPro CEO and Leader of Development, Neftaly Malatjie, delivered a powerful message to nonprofit organizations striving for growth and sustainability.
“Look at SayPro and learn from it,” Malatjie said during his keynote address, emphasizing SayPro’s own journey from a grassroots initiative to a continent-wide development powerhouse. His statement resonated strongly with more than 150 nonprofit leaders in attendance, who came from across Southern Africa to gain insights on building effective, accountable, and innovative organizations.

Malatjie encouraged participants to see SayPro not just as a training provider, but as a model for how nonprofits can be built with vision, discipline, and a focus on measurable impact.

The SayPro Capacity Building Training for NPOs Programme was created to equip nonprofit leaders with essential tools for success, covering areas such as:

- Proposal writing and fundraising
- Strategic leadership and organizational development
During the three-day event, participants engaged in both theoretical and practical sessions designed to simulate real-life challenges faced by nonprofit managers. SayPro’s team of facilitators provided tailored guidance to help organizations identify gaps in their operations and create realistic action plans.
